Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire

Yet another brilliant game,

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Add another 100 new pokemon to the old 250, but only a few old pokemon return in these versions.
Another new area, called Hoenn.
No new types (which is good).
Highly detailed, footsteps in sand, reflection in water, shadow from bridges to ground under it.
Eight new gyms. New people in Elite four.

Basic storyline is you move to this new area because you dad, has become a Gym leader of a town close by. You then go off to explore this new area, you find the professer of this area being attacked by a wild pokemon, you pick a pokeball from the profs backpack, who has leaft it miles away from him, and then fight off the attacking pokemon.
He says you have skills with pokemon and lets you go with the pokemon you choose to become the pokemon master.
